A love of gardening, a mother and a bright idea

As a passionate gardener for over five decades, I’ve spent most of my life nurturing plants and watching them grow. In my 70s now, I’ve learned that gardening is as much about patience as it is about problem solving.

Every summer, I watched my plants struggle under the harsh Australian sun. Seeing them burn and wilt was heartbreaking - and it inspired me to find a solution. As the saying goes, “necessity is the mother of invention.”

So, with my iPad and a lot of determination, I began a two-year journey to create something simple, elegant, and effective - a way to protect my plants while still letting them breathe and grow naturally.

With no background in business, but a lifetime of practical wisdom and a “never give up” attitude, I designed a product that truly works. What started as a small idea became a project of passion - one that brings together my love of gardens, my inventive spirit, and my hope to help others who face the same challenge every summer.
